Sweetheart of the Rodeo is a pop-up shop devoted to vintage western culture. We are based in the Stampede city of Calgary, AB and have some of our stock at Wild Rabbit Vintage in East Village. We’ve also listed a selection of our inventory for sale on Instagram @rodeosweetheart.yyc.

I experimented with an elastic waistband (instead of hooks) for comfort reasons and love how it turned out. What I'll remember most about this project is how close I came to running out of supplies (swipe to see what I had left). I only use secondhand fabrics to make these scarves (these I found at the annual @ujamaayyc fabric sale but I'm also working my way through my grandma's fabric stash). I'll be dropping these off at @wildrabbitvintage this weekend:) Since they are my first two I was experimenting with the machine and stabilizers and finishing for the scarves, they are a little wonky (extra special??) so I'm pricing them at $25. #westernscarves #calgaryfashion
